Combination of DIR Command at the command prompt/DOS

Combination of DIR command at the command prompt/DOS is to see the list of files/folders that are in a particular directory or folder. Actually the command DIR command has a lot of parameters that we can use to limit the list of files/folders that we want.

Among others, these parameters can be used to specify files, folders or files and folders you want to take a look at the directory/specific folder, and then determine whether we will display the files are hidden or not, then sort by name, date, size, and so on. For a list of parameters and how to use them, type "DIR /?" And then press Enter.

To use the DIR command on a computer, is to open a Command Prompt (Click Start > Run > CMD). Then you can type DIR commands on the command prompt screen.

Combination of DIR command at the command prompt/DOS:

1. DIR /a- d, which is to see a list of files only.
2. DIR /ad, which is to see the list of existing folders.
3. DIR /a- dh, which is to see hidden files.
4. DIR /ADH, namely to see hidden folders dafter
5. DIR /ah. Namely to see a list of files /folders are hidden
6. DIR /c, ie the basic commands used to display files and directories on drive C.
7. DIR c:d, which is used to display files and directories on the drive C and D.
8. DIR /b /s, that is used to display the directory and sub directory to display the full path name.

Installing the program on a computer is not something that is difficult, almost everyone who had been using the computer is a regular job. The problem with low computer specifications limitations such as Pentium III or IV will inevitably be constrained duration of the loading process.

The slow computer can be caused by many things. Could be due to a virus-infected computer, many programs are installed without regard computer specifications itself, or it could be not powerful computer with anti-virus program installed.

By setting up the parts which I will explain this to a computer generated no less fast with a Pentium IV computer.

The addition of RAM memory is indeed a solution to overcome a slow computer, but still there are some processes that are considered old. With this trick can hopefully tackle the problem without adding more RAM. Some space that we set are as follows:

1. Seting up System Properties

Is space contains information about the name and organization of the owner. You can open it by right clicking on the My Computer icon and select Properties. Or it could be by pressing the Start button + Pause Break.

Follow the steps as follows:
Right click on the My Computer icon and select Properties.

Click the System Restore, make sure you click the Turn Off System Restore On All Drives. It would be very useful to dispel some of the ways the virus propagation.

Then click Advanced.

There are 3 settings menu below. Click the Settings first, and make sure you select the Adjust For Best Performance.
Continue by clicking Apply.

2. Seting up System Configuration

In the top row of the menu, on the right end are the Startup menu. Click on the menu.

Look to the bottom, there is a series of names with each having a check mark (v). These names is an indication that the program will always run when Windows first appeared. 3. Seting up Registry

3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4. HKEY_USERS
5. HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG

Click Start, select Run and type in regedit, click OK or directly press Enter.
Click the plus sign ( + ) in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Click the plus sign ( + ) in the Control Panel
Click the plus sign ( + ) on the Desktop ( See the right-hand window in Desktop position. There is a dizzying array of Strings that enough and of course English. 's And find MenuShowDelay. If you have found, double-click and change its value from 400 to 0, then click OK ).
Now back to the left pane.

There are several software that can help us to keep our computer performance such Tune Up Utilities, CCleaner, Registry Booster, etc..

6. Setting up Multimedia

For those of you who need entertainment to listen to music or watch a movie we can take advantage of the Windows Media Player software that is inherited from the Windows OS, but is usually limited to a specific file format, as an additional software we can use multimedia software such as Winamp, iTunes, VLC Player, GOM Player, Quick Time Player, Media Player Classic, etc..

7. Setting up Supporting software

At this point usually depends on the needs of each user should, for you who like to use the Graphic Design supporting software such as Photoshop, Corel, 3D Max, etc.. For you are engaged in the field of Web Design and Development can use supporting software such as Dreamweaver, Xampp, Notepad + +, etc.. For you who like the song or movie editing can use supporting software such as Audacity, Music Editor Free, Nuendo, Adobe Premiere Pro, Movie Maker, etc..

Actually a lot of tweeking really trick windows in the forums on the internet, hundreds of ways and methods, but this let me give you some recipes the concoction of a little trick / tip tweeking win XP client which can be used in the cafe / game online.

Previously please read the terms and conditions, remember, I am not responsible for any disruption and damage due to the use of tip / trick that I wrote, the term is used also used, but do not protest! It already was told above!?

TERMS and CONDITIONS

1. Tips & tricks applies to win XP, for other OS, please adjust your own.

2. In the case of tweeking the registry, use regedit program, so please learn first how to life, especially in the manufacture of Key, String, DWORD, etc.

A. TIPS ...!

1. Install programs that are important and useful function in accordance with client cafe / game online, use the free software and legal nature such as:

Openoffice, Adobe Reader, 7Zip, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, WinAmp, Yahoo Messenger, XnView, IRC, K-lite Megacodecs / Media Player Classic etc.

After the computers connected in a form of topology (eg Star) then we are ready to make arrangements. Turn on the PC Server (make sure that the PC server is connected to your Internet Broadband Network). Internet connection to the server is done by employees of the Internet Service Provider or if we want to do it themselves, we just ask for dial number password, IP and DNS from the provider after the application of our subscription request is received (look for the safe course is hehehe ...) open a command prompt from start menu - programs - accessories - command prompt. Type in "ping www.google.com" without the quotation marks so ...

If we have a server PC connected to the Internet through speedy then we will get "Reply from 72.14.203.174: ..." means that the connection is successfully received.

Well, now we will be setting up a new network that we did earlier .....

Open a command prompt and type "ipconfig / all" press ENTER (without the quotes). Here will be visible IP Address, DNS server and Default Gateway (NIC 1 and NIC 2's speedy still empty). Record on a sheet of papyrus paper eh :) means those numbers. IP addresses are typically used in class C.

For example, NIC 1 charge:

IP address: 192.168.1.2

Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (IP Address in ADSL modem)

DNS server: 202.134.0.15 (DNS from ISP / Speedy)

Alternative DNS: 202.134.0.10

Open the Control Panel - Network connectin. Double click on Local Area Connectin 2 (NIC2)

Find a selection of Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) then click Properties. Click on the Use the Following IP address and then fill in as follows:

IP address: 192.168.0.1

Once completed, click OK and then closse

Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.1.2 (IP Address of the NIC 1)

DNS server: 202.134.0.15

Alternative DNS: 202.134.0.10

Turn on all client computers. For convenience, do the setup from the client machine number 1.

Open the Control Panel - Network connectin. Double click on Local Area Connectin

Find a selection of Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) then click Properties. Click on the Use the Following IP address and then fill in as follows:

IP address: 192.168.0.2 (IP Address client 1)

Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (IP Address in the server NIC 2)

DNS server: 202.134.0.15

In the previous post that the NIC 1 is connected to the ADSL modem and NIC 2 is connected to the switch. NIC 2 is what will we share to the client computer.

Before you synchronize data between the PC server and client PC we first fill the IP address on all client computers. Carane .... :

To client 2 and so on, follow the step number 2 above. You can just change the IP address to 3,4,5 ..... ff.
